And here comes the last stretch of the Bishnupur Tarakeswar Branch line. The railway line everyone has been waiting for in West Bengal. ER has put out a tender for various construction work such as filling the earth, covering the formation with blankets, laying turf, building retaining walls, major/minor bridges, RUBs, drains, approach roads, and more. This work will be carried out from Ch.- 26000 to Ch.- 27370 m and Ch.- 28485 to Ch.- 42620 m (starting from Bishnupur), including Baragopinathpur (Ch.- 30780), Jayrambati (Ch.- 37820), and Kamarpukur station (Ch.- 43070). We will be building platforms, PF sheds, FOBs, doing piling work, installing LC gates, height gauges, station buildings, and other related works, between Maynapur (Ch.- 23200) and Goghat (Ch.- 48570). This is all part of the new B.G. rail line construction from Tarakeswar to Bishnupur in Bankura and Hooghly District.
