At present the longest train running in the Braganza ghats is Amaravati express with its slip ie. 23 coaches ICF rake. But that's a secondary maintenance train. This one has to undergo primary maintenance at VSG. At present only the old pitline is operational whose max length is only 21 ICF or 19 LHB. New 24 ICF or 22 LHB pitline is not yet commissioned.
Only solution is somehow Jharkhand politicians lobby to make it biweekly.
