The bridge construction is expected to be completed by September 2024. Meanwhile, a delegation led by Teghra MLA Ramratan Singh met the GM at Rajendra Pul Station to raise concerns regarding railway issues. They requested the construction of a ROB near Barouni Thermal Bus Stand on the Barouni-Hathidah rail line to connect Gupta Bandh, construction of ROBs at Simaria South Railway Cabin Kasha-Chakia village and Simaria North Railway Cabin, and halting of the Kosi Express and Rajrani Express trains at Chakia Thermal Halt. The GM assured the delegation that he would address all these demands soon.

Vidit ho ki Simaria Dham ke paas Ganga nadi par ban rahe double-track railway bridge ka nirman kaary agle varsh September 2024 tak poora karne ka lakshya rakha gaya hai. Iske saath hi, Teghra Vidhayak Ramratan Singh ke netrutv mein ek prati-nidhi mandal Rajendra Pul Station par GM se mila aur unhone railway se jude kuchh samasyaon ko lekar apni maang rakha. Unhone Gupta Bandh ko jodne ke liye Barouni-Hathidah rail khand par Barouni Thermal Bus Stand ke samip railway track par ROB ka nirman karwane, Simaria South Railway Cabin Kasha-Chakia gaon aur Simaria North Railway Cabin par ROB nirman karne ke saath-saath Chakia Thermal Halt par Kosi Express aur Rajrani Express train ka thaharav karwane ki maang ki. GM ne prati-nidhi mandal ko aasvasan diya ki woh jaldi hi in sabhi maangon ko pura karenge.
