financial year (April to October). The target of covering 637 km of railway lines with Kavach remains unfulfilled, with only 10 km covered in the previous financial year. As of December 31, 2022, only 1,455 km of the railway network was equipped with Kavach. This slow pace of implementation suggests it will take years to equip the entire network with Kavach.

is technology ka successful test bhi kiya gaya tha. Lekin ye technology abhi kuchh hi routes par available hai. Ek railway performance report ke mutabik, is financial year mein ab tak Kavach ka kaam ek inch bhi nahin badha hai. Yaani April se October tak kisi bhi new rail line ko is safety system se cover nahin kiya gaya hai. Businessline ke mutabik, is report mein kaha gaya hai ki 31 October tak Kavach ke commissioning ka kaam nil hai, jabki 637 km rail line ko isse cover karne ka target tha. Pichle financial year mein is duration mein sirf 10 km rail line ko is system se laas kiya gaya tha. Philahal Kavach technology desh ke kuchh railway routes par hi available hai. 31 December 2022 tak railway network ke sirf 1,455 kilometer route ko cover kiya gaya tha. Isi raftaar se kaam chalta raha to pure network ko Kavach ke daayre mein laane mein kai saal lag jaayenge.
