Swatantra Senani Express arrived five hours late. The 15561 Swatantra Senani Express, departing from Jaynagar on December 22nd, arrived in Delhi eight hours late. Passengers faced inconvenience due to the delays. Several trains, including the Chhapra-Varanasi City, Harihar Nath Express, Chhapra-Farrukhabad Utsarg Express, Chhapra-Lucknow Express, and the Saryu Yamuna Express, were cancelled. The Station Superintendent, Sunil Singh, attributed the delays to fog and informed about provisions for passenger accommodation and allowances. Despite the information provided, passengers were seen enquiring at the enquiry counter due to inaccurate train location updates on mobile apps.
