to improve train speed and accommodate high-speed trains. It is the first new track construction in Malappuram district since the Shoranur-Nilambur line. Land acquisition is required for the project, and the final report is expected soon after minor rectifications. The new tunnel will allow trains to bypass the curve and increase speed from 110 kmph to 130 kmph, eventually reaching 160 kmph. Around 18 trains, including Jan Shatabdi and Vande Bharat, are expected to use this new route.

line se judegi. Is project ka aim train ki speed improve karna aur high-speed trains ko accommodate karna hai. Yeh Malappuram district mein Shoranur-Nilambur line ke baad pehla new track construction hai. Project ke liye land acquisition ki jarurat hai, aur final report kuchh minor rectifications ke baad jaldi hi submit ki jaayegi. Naya tunnel trains ko curve ko bypass karne ki ijazat dega aur speed 110 kmph se badhakar 130 kmph karega, aur aakhir mein 160 kmph tak pahunchega. Lagbhag 18 trains, including Jan Shatabdi aur Vande Bharat, is new route ka use karenge.
