Jain pilgrimage site Kundalpur and the Jabalpur-Mandla-Bilaspur line would bring rail connectivity to the tribal areas of Dindori district, as well as to previously unconnected districts like Mandla's Bichia and Chhattisgarh's Kawardha, Mungeli, and Lorami. These projects promise shorter travel times, lower fares, and boost tourism, trade, industry, education, and employment opportunities.
