Express had departed from Agartala en route to Anand Vihar when the incident occurred near Maharajpur. After the collision, the train halted for a few minutes before the railway team was informed and the train resumed its journey. Despite the incident, the train arrived in Bhagalpur ahead of schedule, where it was welcomed on its first arrival. Extensive arrangements had been made for the event. The authorities are investigating the incident.

kharab ho gaya. Bataaya ja raha hai ki Tejas Express Agartala se Anand Vihar ke liye ravana hui thi. Isi dauraan jab Maharajpur ke paas badmaashon ne patari par ek patthar rakh diya tha. Isse train takrayi aur engine ka part kharab ho gaya. Train kuchh minute ke liye wahi rukhi rahi. Uske baad railway team ko information di gayi. Railway staff ne apni team ko saari jaankaari di. Uske baad train start hui. Budhvaar ko train tay time se pehle hi Bhagalpur pahunch gayi jahaan pehle baar pahunchi Rajdhani Express ka swagat kiya gaya. Iske liye poori taiyari pehle hi kar li gayi thi.
