A fire broke out in a railway cabin near Tatanagar station due to a short circuit on Monday evening at 6:15 PM. and brought the fire under control. However, the cabin was completely destroyed. The cabin housed employees from the Carriage Department who monitor the wheels of trains (coaches and goods) running on the line as part of the safe operation plan to prevent accidents. The burning of the cabin has forced the railway to rebuild it. It is reported that short circuits have caused fires at other stations and locations on the railway in the past.

agnishamak yantra lekar mauka par pahunche aur aag mein kaabu paya. Halanki cabin puri tarah jal gayi. Bataya jata hai ki cabin mein carriage department ke karmchari rehte hain, jo safe operation plan se line par doudti trains (coaching aur goods) ke pehle par nazar rakhte hain, taki haadsa na ho. Karmchariyon ke baithne ki cabin jalne se railway ko naye sir se cabin banani hogi. Maloom ho ki railway mein short circuit ke karan pehle bhi kai station ke alawa anya jagah par aag lagi hai.
