to Girgaon, Cotton Green to Kalachowki, Dockyard to Mazgaon, King's Circle to Tirthankar Parswanath, and Mumbai Central to Nana Jagannath Shankarsheth. The decision follows a request from Mumbai residents and will be submitted to the Union government after the state cabinet's approval. This is not the first instance of renaming Mumbai railway stations, as Victoria Terminus was renamed Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Oshiwara was renamed Ram Mandir, and Elphinstone Road was renamed Prabhadevi.

Yeh decision Mumbai ke residents ke request ke baad aaya hai aur state cabinet se approval milne ke baad union government ko submit kiya jaayega. Mumbai ke railway stations ka naam badalne ka yeh pehla mauka nahi hai, pehle Victoria Terminus ka naam Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Oshiwara ka naam Ram Mandir aur Elphinstone Road ka naam Prabhadevi kar diya gaya tha.
