septic tank for the quarters near the railway colony water tank. The pipe installed for gas release from the tank is at an absurdly low height, significantly below the height of the quarters, meaning the stench from the tank will directly reach the residents. The standard practice is to install such pipes above the building height to avoid odor. When questioned about this, a railway official, Rana Chakravarty, said that the press shouldn't be bothered if the residents aren't complaining. This highlights the lack of responsiveness to the needs of lower-grade employees. The matter clearly requires investigation.

bane quarters ke liye septic tank banate time, ek nayi problem aayi hai. Tank se gas release karne ke liye lagi hui pipe ki height bahut kam hai, quarters ki height se kaafi niche. Iska matlab hai ki tank se nikalne wali badboo seedha quarters wale logo tak jaayegi. Aam tor par, aise pipes building ki height se upar lagaye jaate hain taaki badboo se bacha ja sake. Jab is baare mein railway department ke ek officer, Rana Chakravarty se puchha gaya, toh unka jawab bhi ajeeb tha. Unhone kaha ki press ko tension kyon hai jab residents complain nahi kar rahe. Isse yeh pata chalta hai ki lower-grade employees ki jaruraton ka dhyan nahi rakha jaata hai. Is maamle ki jaanch jaroori hai.
