The return train, Chennai Egmore-Tirunelveli special (Train No. 06069), leaves Chennai Egmore at 3 PM on Fridays (April 12, 19, 26, May 3, 10, 17, 24, 31) and reaches Tirunelveli Junction at 7:10 AM the following day. The trains stop at various stations including Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Cuddalore Port Junction, Chidambaram, Sirkazhi, Mayiladuthurai, Tiruvarur, Thiruthuraipoondi, Mutupet, Adirampattinam, Pattukottai, Peravurani, Aranthangi, Karaikudi, Kallal, Sivaganga, Manamadurai, Aruppukkottai, Virudhunagar, Satur, and Kovilpatti. The special trains consist of 21 coaches, including AC two-tier, AC three-tier, sleeper, general second class, Divyangjan friendly, and luggage-cum-brake van.

Return journey ke liye, Chennai Egmore se Tirunelveli jaane wala special train (Train No. 06069) har Friday (April 12, 19, 26, May 3, 10, 17, 24, 31) ko dopahar 3 PM pe Chennai Egmore se chalta hai aur agle din subah 7:10 AM pe Tirunelveli Junction pahunchta hai. Ye trains kai stations pe rukenge, jaise Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Cuddalore Port Junction, Chidambaram, Sirkazhi, Mayiladuthurai, Tiruvarur, Thiruthuraipoondi, Mutupet, Adirampattinam, Pattukottai, Peravurani, Aranthangi, Karaikudi, Kallal, Sivaganga, Manamadurai, Aruppukkottai, Virudhunagar, Satur, aur Kovilpatti.
