firsts, including the first Shatabdi, Jan Shatabdi, and Tejas Express, and continues to operate historic trains like the Punjab Mail. Central Railway was also responsible for the first electric train service in India between Bombay VT and Kurla Harbour in 1925. Today, Central Railway boasts 100% electrification, five suburban corridors, and has significantly increased its originating loading from 16.58 million tonnes to 89.24 million tonnes in 2023-24. The Neral-Matheran Light Railway, which began operation in 1907, has also been modernized with infrastructural improvements for passenger safety and comfort. Central Railway remains committed to providing safe, comfortable, and convenient travel for its passengers.

Aaj, Central Railway 100% electrification, panch suburban corridors, aur apna originating loading 16.58 million tonnes se badhakar 89.24 million tonnes kar chuka hai 2023-24 mein. Neral-Matheran Light Railway, jo 1907 mein start hua tha, usme bhi infrastructural improvement kiye gaye hain passenger safety aur comfort ke liye. Central Railway apne passengers ke liye safe, comfortable aur convenient travel provide karne ke liye committed hai.
