Sealdah - Ajmer Express should have a halt for atleast 2 minutes at Dakshineswar. Previously Lal Quila Express was the only option for Dakshineswar to Delhi, now Lal Quila Express is cancelled permanently and there is no train from Dakshineswar to Delhi. If Sealdah - Ajmer Express gets halt at Dakshineswar, Passengers can deboard at Agra and then catch any Delhi Bound train from Agra.

I doubt if anyone used to travel in trains like Lal Quila, Janata, Upper India, Koaa Anvt all the way till Delhi. Those trains used to serve as a connection between intermediate stations.
And Dakshineswar is very much within KMDA. It's completely unnecessary to provide halts to such long distance trains just for the sake of few localities.

1. DAKE is very well connected to SDAH by local train and to HWH by metro railway. Moreover Dakhineswar is very much a part of extended Kolkata City, Bandel and Naihati are quite far off from Kolkata proper and represent a significant chunk of population by themselves.
2. Dakhineswar station is quite constrained by space issues as well, long distance and local trains have to stop on the main lines.
3. Stopping a superfast train originating from SDAH is pointless since it is already so well connected to SDAH. Moreover it would open

up a Pandora's Box for SDAH division as other stations like Kamarkundu will also claim halts and HWH Division will duly oblige as it's a SDAH originating train.
4. DAKE may end up being highly convenient for you for obvious reasons, but it end up damaging irrevocably one of the better superfast train still originating from SDAH.

That's simply because both Bandel and Naihati are important junctions too. The whole Nadia district and Katwa subdivision of Purba Bardhaman are dependent on these two stations. Had they not been such important junctions, they wouldn't have recieved halts of any long distance train. For instance, just look at Barrackpore or Shrirampur. They are way more important and bigger cities than Bandel but still they dont get halts of the long distance trains.
Dakshineswar, on the other hand, serves only a few localities of Kolkata like Baranagar and Dunlop. On top of that, Dakshineswar has metro connectivity which makes transport way more easier than the other aforesaid stations.
