Sawalakote yard and Tunnel T-33 near Katra. Khandelwal expressed satisfaction with the progress and emphasized the importance of monitoring Tunnel T-33. The USBRL project is considered one of the most challenging railway projects in India, traversing through the Himalayas. The Banihal-Khari-Sumber-Sangaldan section is notable for its use of Ballast Less Track (BLT) and includes India's longest transportation tunnel, T-50 (12.77 km), between Khari and Sumber. The Katra-Banihal section faces particularly challenging geological conditions.

section, Sawalakote yard mein critical works aur Katra ke paas Tunnel T-33 ko bhi dekha gaya. Khandelwal ne progress se satisfaction dikhayi aur Tunnel T-33 par dhyaan dene ka mahatva bataya. USBRL project ko India ka ek sabse challenging railway project mana jaata hai, jo Himalayas se ho kar jaata hai. Banihal-Khari-Sumber-Sangaldan section BLT (Ballast Less Track) ka use karta hai aur is mein India ka sabse lamba transportation tunnel, T-50 (12.77 km), Khari aur Sumber ke beech hai. Katra-Banihal section ka geological conditions bahut challenging hain.
