The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) is constructing an eight-lane road connecting the expressway to the airport, with the first four lanes expected to open by June 15 and the remaining lanes by August 15. Additionally, three other airport connection projects are underway, including a VIP road for emergency and VIP access. The Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the rapid rail-cum-metro system has been approved, and funding is being sought from the government. Studies are also being conducted for the implementation of pod taxis and monorails, expected to be completed within two years.
