The line will pass through 14 villages in Uttar Pradesh and 11 villages in Uttarakhand, requiring land acquisition. kam kar degi, kyunki yeh Tapri ya Saharanpur se bypassing hoti hai. Yeh line UP ke 14 villages aur Uttarakhand ke 11 villages se hoke gujre gi, jiske liye land acquire karna padega. Is nayi line se Delhi aur Roorkee ke beech ki distance 33 km kam ho jaegi aur main rail route pe congestion kam hoga.
