The Pune Railway Division is trying to retain the MEMU (Mainline Electric Multiple Unit) train operating between Pune and Daund, while the Bhusawal Division insists on taking it back. on the same route is repaired and returned to Pune on June 16th. This decision was made on the condition that the MEMU train be returned to Bhusawal after the DEMU's return, making the MEMU's stay in Pune uncertain. Pune Division is putting pressure on the Central Railway Headquarters to keep the MEMU. Locals are urged to take a more proactive stance, beyond mere petitions, to retain the MEMU service, as the Railway Board may take notice of a protest or 'rail roko'. The Divisional Railway Manager of Pune, Indu Dube, stated that they are trying to keep the MEMU and are working with higher authorities. Nikhil Kachi, a member of the Divisional Railway Advisory Committee, emphasized the need for the MEMU train, highlighting the higher passenger volume compared to the DEMU. He also advocated for declaring the Pune-Daund section as a suburban zone, citing the high passenger traffic.

Pune aur Bhusawal Railway Division ke beech MEMU train ko lekar fight chal rahi hai. Pune Division chahta hai ki MEMU Pune mein hi rahe, lekin Bhusawal Division usko waapas lena chahta hai. Pune ko Daund aur Pune ke beech chalne wala MEMU train thodi der ke liye diya gaya tha,...

lekin 16 June ko DEMU (Diesel Electric Multiple Unit) ki repair hone ke baad, MEMU ko Bhusawal vapas bheja jayega. Pune Division central Railway ke office par pressure dal raha hai ki MEMU unke pass rahe. Daund ke logon ko MEMU train rakhne ke liye aagrah karne ke liye 'rail roko' karna hoga, taaki Railway Board ispe dhyaan de. Pune ke Divisional Railway Manager Indu Dube ne kaha ki woh MEMU train ko rakhne ki koshish kar rahe hain aur iske liye upar walaon se baat kar rahe hain. Nikhil Kachi, Divisional Railway Advisory Committee ke member, ne kaha ki Daund aur Pune ke beech MEMU train chahiye kyunki DEMU ki tulna mein isme jyada passenger travel karte hain. Unhone yeh bhi kaha ki Pune-Daund section ko suburban zone declare karna chahiye, kyunki is section mein bohot zyada passenger travel karte hain.
