Since 1950, Dongargarh has been a significant railway center, housing various facilities like a washing line, parcel service, guard lobby, carriage, wagon shed, diesel shed, and loco center. While some resources and staff were relocated to Nagpur following the phasing out of diesel engines, the remaining lobby continues to operate in Dongargarh. This shift is likely to affect hundreds of railway employees and their families who reside in Dongargarh, impacting the city's economy significantly. While attempts to relocate the lobby have been made in the past, this recent decision by the Railway Board has revived concerns among Dongargarh's residents and businesses. To facilitate the transfer, the Railway Board plans to limit stock in Dongargarh, retaining only a minimal staff for banking purposes. This move will weaken Dongargarh's lobby by gradually transferring staff to Gondhia and Kalamna. Over the past year, several officers and employees have already been transferred to Nagpur, Kalamna, and Gondhia, hinting at the deliberate nature of this shift. Former Mayor Tarun Hathel accused certain railway officers of conspiring to dismantle the Dongargarh lobby, highlighting the efforts made by MP Santosh Pandey to secure its establishment in the city. The decision has sparked outrage among residents and businesses, leading to calls for strong resistance.

karmiyon par sankat ke baadal gahre gaye hain, vaheen Dongargarh ke vyapar ke behad prabhavit hone ke asar bhi dikhaai de rahe hain. Ullekhaniya hai ki san 1950 se Dongargarh ko railway ke ek bade center ke roop mein vikasit kiya gaya tha. Yahaan washing line, rail parcel, guard lobby, carriage, wagon shed, diesel shed ke saath-saath loco center bhi sanchalit raha hai. Diesel engine ke band hone ke baad se Dongargarh mein sthapit rahe kai sansadhan aur staff ko Nagpur shift kar diya gaya. Vartaman mein yahaan railway ki lobby sanchalit ki ja rahi hai. Jiske chalte kareeb chhe sau karamchari Dongargarh mein niwasarte hain. Sutroon ne bataya ki Delhi mein pichhle 18 aur 19 April maah mein aayojit Railway Board ki baithak mein Dongargarh ki lobby ko Kalamna aur Gondhia shift karne ka nirnay liya gaya hai. Is nirnay se ab Dongargarh mein niwasarat railway karmiyon mein sankat ke halat nirmit ho gaye hain. Bataya jata hai ki engine ke loco pilot Dongargarh se hi change hote hain. Aisi sthiti mein saikadon karmiyon ke parivar yaheen niwasarat hain. Jiske chalte Dongargarh shahar vyapar ki drishti se bhi behad majboot hai lekin railway ki lobby ko Kalamna aur Gondhia shift kiye jaane ki taiyarioon ke beech hi ab vyapariyon mein bhi aakrosh ki sthiti nirmit ho rahi hai. Kai saal se chal rahi koshishen: Dongargarh se railway ki lobby ko hataane ke liye pichhle kuchh saalon se railway ke adhikariyon dwara prayas kiya ja raha hai. Pichhle chhe mahine pehle bhi is tarah ki kawayad shuru hui thi. Jab Dongargarh ke vyapariyon ne iska virodh kiya tab kahin jaakar mamla shant hua lekin ab Railway Board ki baithak mein nirnay liye jaane se ek baar fir is saugat ke chhine jaane ke halat nirmit ho gaye hain. Tabadle ke jariye shifting ki saajish: Railway Board ne apni baithak mein yah nirnay liya hai ki SECR ko Dongargarh mein seemamit stock rakhna chahiye. Yahaan kewal banking uddeshya ke liye hi staff rakhe jayenge. Gondhia aur Kalamna lobby mein staff ko majboot karne se Dongargarh lobby ki takat dhire dhire kam hogi. Yahi karan hai ki pichhle ek saal se yahaan se kai adhikariyon aur karmiyon ka thok mein Nagpur, Kalamna aur Gondhia mein tabadala kiya ja raha hai. Afsaron ke ishare par khel: Nagar Palika ke purv adhyaksh Tarun Hathel ne bataya ki, railway ke kuchh afsaron dwara Dongargarh se railway ki lobby ko khatam karne ki lagatar saajish ki ja rahi hai. Pichhle dinon sansad Santosh Pandey ne railway mantri se baatcheet kar is lobby ko Dongargarh mein sthapit karne sambandhi charcha ki thi. Yadi railway ke afsaron dwara yah manmani ki gayi to kada virodh hoga.
