district councilor Anil Yadav, Rajendra Gupta, Rajesh Gupta, and other senior leaders highlighted his personality. They said that Bharat Thakur was known for his socialist leadership. He had a dream of laying the Kodarma-Manikpur rail line and had fought hard for it. His death is an irreparable loss to the party. The meeting demanded the construction of a memorial for him in Dev. The meeting was presided over by block president Savita Devi. Others present included RJD leaders Vijay Paswan, Sitaram Yadav, Birja Yadav, Saroj Mehta, Lalan Soni, Situ Chaurasiya, Mohammad Wahid, Mohammad Munir Khan, Rajdev Bhagat, Nitish Kumar, and Ajay Yadav.
