loading, East Central Railway ranked fourth in terms of freight loading in the first quarter among all zonal railways of Indian Railways. The first quarter saw a record increase in wheat and corn loading. From April to June 2024, 37 rakes of wheat were loaded, an increase of 146.67% compared to 15 rakes loaded in the same period last year. Similarly, 317 rakes of corn were loaded, an increase of 109% compared to 152 rakes loaded in the same period last year. The total initial earnings from freight transportation in the first quarter (April to June) of the current financial year 2024-25 were Rs. 6789.98 crore. This is 6.88% higher than the initial earnings of Rs. 6353.05 crore from freight transportation in the first quarter of the previous financial year.

Indian Railways ke sabhi zonal railways mein pehle quarter mein maal loading ke matter mein chautha rank par raha hai. Pehle quarter mein gehun aur makka ki loading ke matter mein record increase dekhi gayi hai. April se June 2024 tak, 37 rakes of wheat load ki gayi, jo pichle saal ke issi period mein load ki gayi 15 rakes se 146.67% zyada hai. Issi tarah, 317 rakes of corn load ki gayi, jo pichle saal ke issi period mein load ki gayi 152 rakes se 109% zyada hai. Chaloo financial year 2024-25 ke pehle quarter (April se June tak) mein kiye gaye maal dhulai se total 6789.98 crore rupees ki initial aay prapt hui hai. Yeh pichle financial year ke pehle quarter mein maal dhulai se prapt initial aay 6353.05 crore rupees ke tulna mein 6.88% zyada hai.
