railways for transporting 35% of its total vehicle production in the next 7-8 years, aligning with its green logistics initiative. The company has dispatched over 20 lakh units via railways, reaching 20 destinations and serving over 450 cities. Maruti Suzuki pioneered this method in India, earning the first Automobile-Freight-Train-Operator license, and has achieved substantial environmental benefits, including a 10,000 metric tonne reduction in CO2 emissions and 270 million liters of fuel savings. The company has also inaugurated the first in-plant railway siding at its Gujarat facility with a 3 lakh vehicle per annum capacity, with a second facility under construction in Manesar.

Company ne ab tak 20 lakh units railways se dispatch kiye hai, aur 20 jagah tak yeh dispatch ho raha hai, jiske sahare 450 se zyada cities mein yeh pahunch raha hai. Maruti Suzuki ne India mein yeh method start kiya tha aur sabse pehle Automobile-Freight-Train-Operator license bhi liya tha. Isse kaafi environmental benefits bhi hue hain, jaise 10,000 metric tonne CO2 emission kam hone aur 270 million litre fuel save hone.
