Pune Railway Division Cracks Down on Emergency Chain Misuse; 1,500 Arrested, Rs 8 Lakh in Fines Collected

The Central Railway Division reported 11,434 cases of improper chain pulling from April 2023 to June 2024, resulting in fines totaling Rs 63.21 lakh for 9,657 individuals. The RPF aims to ensure the emergency chain is used only for genuine emergencies to maintain punctuality and safety across the railway network.

jaise serious incidents ke liye karna chahiye, lekin log iska misuse chhote baaton ke liye kar rahe hain, jisse train late ho rahi hai aur dushwari ho rahi hai. RPF Railways Act 1989 ke Section 141 ke tahat action le raha hai. Central Railway Division mein April 2023 se June 2024 tak 11,434 cases aise reported hue hain, jisme chain khinchne ka misuse hua hai. 9,657 logon par action liya gaya aur unse Rs 63.21 lakh ka fine vasoola gaya. RPF ka target hai ki emergency chain ka use sirf serious incidents mein ho aur train time pe chale aur safedhar rahe.
