The project is in various stages of completion, with 139.62 km between Ratlam-Indore-Mahu completed, 60.65 km between Sanvad-Khandwa complete, 5.51 km between Mahu-Patalpani nearing completion, and 20.7 km between Omkareshwar-Mukhtiyar targeted for completion by December 2025. The section between Patalpani-Badia is targeted for completion by February 2026.
