Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has directed the inclusion of state pilgrimage sites in the Chief Minister's Tirth Darshan Yojana. Dwarka, Jagannathpuri, Kamakhya, Shirdi, Haridwar, Mathura-Vrindavan, Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar's initiation site (Nagpur), and the Golden Temple in Amritsar. Air travel for pilgrimages was introduced in 2023-24 and has benefitted 790 pilgrims. The Chief Minister also emphasized the need to improve facilities at pilgrimage sites like Orchha, Maihar, Bada Mahadev Temple, Chouragarh Mahadev, and Jata Shankar Pachmarhi. He has instructed the Religious Endowments and Religious Affairs Department to prepare a plan for this. Additionally, the Chief Minister has suggested involving other departments in organizing trips for youth to explore Madhya Pradesh's heritage, historical landmarks, natural beauty, and tourist spots, including tribal areas, to enhance their knowledge and promote cultural exchange.

Air travel for pilgrimages 2023-24 mein start hua aur 790 pilgrims ko benefit mil chuka hai. Mukhyamantri ne tirth sthalon par facility improve karne ki baat bhi kahi hai jaise Orchha, Maihar, Bada Mahadev Temple, Chouragarh Mahadev, aur Jata Shankar Pachmarhi. Unhone Religious Endowments aur Religious Affairs Department ko iske liye ek plan prepare karne ka order diya hai.
