The estimated cost is ₹16,000 crores. * **Ambikapur-Barwadih New Line Project (200 km):** Connecting Ambikapur (northern Chhattisgarh) to Barwadih (Jharkhand), passing through Parsa, Rajpur, and Chandanpur. This will provide an alternate route for transporting coal and minerals from the north and east of India. The estimated cost is ₹9,000 crores. * **Kharsia-Naya Raipur-Parmalkasa New Rail Line Project (277 km):** This project will provide an alternative route for evacuating coal from SECL and MCL coalfields in the western region of the country. It will bypass Bilaspur and Raipur stations and connect the Balodabazar area.
