129 kilometers from Lucknow. The train's locomotive pilot reported hearing an explosion before the derailment. The Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) has been ordered to investigate the incident. Fifteen carriages, including three AC coaches, derailed, with three flipping over. The accident resulted in two fatalities and 25 injuries, including two individuals with severed limbs. Most of the injured were passengers in the AC coaches. The Uttar Pradesh government has announced financial assistance for the victims' families: 10 lakh rupees for the deceased, 2.5 lakh rupees for severely injured passengers, and 50,000 rupees for minor injuries. The train was operating under train number 15904.

Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) ko incident ki jaanch ka order diya gaya hai. 15 bogiyan, jismein 3 AC coaches bhi hain, derail ho gayi, jismein se 3 palt gayi. Accident mein do logon ki jaan gayi aur 25 log zakhmi hue, jismein do logon ke pair kat gaye. Zyaadaatar zakhmi AC coaches mein baithne waale passengers the. Uttar Pradesh government ne victims ke parivaar ke liye financial assistance announce kiya hai: marne walon ke liye 10 lakh rupees, severely injured passengers ke liye 2.5 lakh rupees, aur normal injuries ke liye 50,000 rupees.
