Seeking feedback, suggestions and ratings for this Vande Bharat connecting state capitals Bhubaneswar and Ranchi via Baleshwar, Hijli, Tatanagar. Thanks.
First of all my question is, is it feasible to run it at average speed over +80km/h? I think, it can get 1 hour slower. But my main concern is, divert it via Purulia, LR will be avoided.
I have designed the TT and stoppage pattern based on existing PURI-HWH and HWH-RNC Vande Bharats upto TATA, not completely sure myself if a more aggressive TT would be feasible. Going via Purulia will make the route longer and more timetaking (post-midnight return at BBS); further that route is already served by HWH-RNC VB. I didn't think much against the reversal at MURI since a couple other VBs also have reversals and this route saves time.
You are right regarding the point of time. But the existing VB and this imaginary VB both doesn't have any halt in any other place even if you keep the direct train to rnc.
Tu time point ke baare mein sahi hai. Par yeh current VB aur yeh kalpana wala VB dono kisi aur jagah par koi rukav nahi hai, seedha train leke rnc tak pahunch jaata hai.
Sorry if I'm misunderstanding, is there a need to add any new halts for this IMG? Also the HWH-RNC VB does have stoppages at PRR, KSX so I didn't really understand your point ๐
