initial funding allocation in 2021. The project aims to connect Yamunanagar to Karnal, spanning approximately 64.6 kilometers, with five proposed stations along the way. It would provide a vital rail link for the region, facilitating transportation of goods and agricultural produce. The project's execution has been stalled, and land acquisition for the rail line remains incomplete. The proposed line will start from Jagadhri Workshop railway station in Yamunanagar, connecting to the Delhi-Ambala railway line at Karnal station. It will also serve as a feeder route for the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor and include an interchange point at the Kalanor station in Yamunanagar.

Project ka matlab Yamunanagar ko Karnal se connect karna hai, jo ki 64.6 kilometers lamba hai, aur ismein paanch stations banne ka plan hai. Ye region ke liye ek important rail link provide karega, jisse goods aur agricultural produce ki transportation mein aasani hogi. Project ki execution ruk gayi hai, aur rail line ke liye land acquisition bhi poora nahi hua hai. Proposed line Yamunanagar ke Jagadhri Workshop railway station se shuru hogi, aur Delhi-Ambala railway line par Karnal station se connect hogi. Ye Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor ke liye ek feeder route ke taur par bhi kaam karegi aur Yamunanagar ke Kalanor station par ek interchange point bhi rahega.
