causing inconvenience for people buying tickets at counters due to the lack of small change. The new QR code system will enable digital payment at both the UTS and PRS counters. The Lucknow Division has purchased 268 QR devices, with 5 already installed at 4 stations (Lucknow Junction - 2, Aishbagh - 1, Daliganj - 1, Gomtinagar - 1). The Varanasi Division has acquired 163 devices and the Izzatnagar (Bareilly) Division has 184. The service is expected to be implemented in Gorakhpur soon.
