track was flooded due to encroachment around bridges, and trains were running at a speed of 10 kilometers per hour. The Slimnabad-Bilhari road was also closed due to heavy rainfall and the rising Katni river. In addition, the Bheda Road and Barhada Nala were flooded, disrupting traffic. The National Highway 30 link road near Slimnabad Taj Hotel was also flooded. Three motorcycle riders and a cyclist were swept away by the strong current but were rescued safely. However, their vehicles were lost in the flood. The Shivnagar settlement in the Reethi area was flooded, damaging household belongings. The flood situation also caused the closure of the Dang-Karhiya road. The mayor of Katni, Preeti Sanjiv Suri, has instructed officials to ensure proper drainage in the city and to address the problem of water logging. A 33 kV power line pole fell due to heavy rainfall near the Duṛha Nala in the Reethi tehsil. The power supply was disrupted but has been restored. Relief camps have been set up in the Dhimerkhera area to accommodate people who have been displaced by the floods.

Dang-Karhiya road bhi band ho gaya hai. Katni ki mayor Preeti Sanjiv Suri ne officials ko city mein proper drainage ka arrangement karne ka order diya hai. Reethi tehsil mein Duṛha Nala ke paas ek 33 kV power line pole gir gaya hai. Power supply band ho gayi thi lekin ab restore ho chuki hai. Dhimerkhera area mein flood se affected logo ke liye relief camps banaye gaye hain.
