The trains which originate/terminate at GTNR have stoppages at BNZ & ASH. No trains skip Aishbagh unless they are coming from Lucknow Jn. If train are coming from Manaknagar - Aishbagh bypass, it ought to stop at ASH.
Now logically also, with rapid expansion of city and the train not going to LKO/LJN passengers need to have multiple options to board/deboard as per their convenience. GTNR and BNZ although appear next to each other but they cater altogether different areas of the city. And above all it's a NER train to Delhi from Lucknow. It appears feasible to provide stoppages.

I think you haven't seen the IRTTC 2024-25 yet. In this IRTTC, all trains that will be transferred from the CNB-LKO-BBK route to the CNB-ASH-BNZ-BBK route will not have stoppages at Aishbagh and Badshahnagar but will stop at Gomti Nagar instead. It is because the Gomtinagar new station is ready and all future trains will have stoppage here instead of Badshahnagar.
That’s very interesting to know that such points have been discussed in meeting. Truly I am unaware of this. Could you plz spare some time to share the minutes of the meeting where this point was put up. It would be really helpful to know
