Chhath Puja when tickets are highly in demand. To activate this option, passengers need to book a waiting ticket for their desired train, then select the 'Vikalp' option on the IRCTC website. The 'Vikalp' feature offers multiple trains as options within the 72-hour window. If a confirmed seat becomes available on any of the selected trains, the passenger's ticket will automatically be upgraded to a confirmed ticket. This feature comes with terms and conditions, and if the ticket is canceled, similar deductions apply as for a confirmed ticket.

especially beneficial hai Diwali aur Chhath Puja jaise peak seasons me, jab tickets ki bahut zyada demand hoti hai. Is option ko activate karne ke liye, passengers ko apni desired train ke liye waiting ticket book karna hoga, phir IRCTC website par 'Vikalp' option select karna hoga. 'Vikalp' feature 72-hour window ke andar multiple trains options deta hai. Agar koi confirmed seat kisi bhi selected train me available hota hai, to passenger ka ticket automatically confirmed ticket me upgrade ho jaayega. Is feature ke terms and conditions bhi hai, aur agar ticket cancel kiya jata hai, to confirmed ticket ki tarah deductions apply honge.
