Upon learning of the team's arrival, a large number of villagers gathered at the spot and staged a protest, demanding the construction of a railway gate instead of closing the crossing. The villagers, including the president of the Diama Panchayat's PACS, Sonu Singh, and former headman Bhavani Singh, pointed out that the railway crossing is essential for the more than 2,000 residents of Chandkura village, which is spread across three wards. The new building for the primary health center will be located along this route, and the railway crossing is the main access point for residents of Chandkura.
