mobile ticketing and UTS on Mobile app, QR code devices are being deployed for digital payments at both reserved and unreserved ticket counters. A total of 500 QR code devices have been allocated, to be installed across 205 ticket counters in Bilaspur division, 95 in Raipur division and 200 in Nagpur division. This facility will be available at all reserved and unreserved ticket counters across SECR by September 2024. Previously, some stations had DDIs (Dual Display Information Systems) with QR code facility at unreserved ticket counters. The introduction of QR codes, UPI, ATVMs, and UTS on Mobile app aims to provide passengers with a hassle-free ticketing experience and enable them to make digital payments without waiting in long queues.
