Indian Railways has introduced a new direct train service from Sonipat to Chandigarh, connecting South Haryana's GT Road belt, North Haryana, and the state capital Chandigarh. Himalayan Queen (train number 14095-96), which had been suspended during the Covid period. The Chetak Express will cover the journey from Sonipat to Chandigarh in three and a half hours, departing early morning and arriving by 9:15 AM, making it convenient for commuters. The addition of this service fills a gap in direct train connectivity for residents of Sonipat, who previously had to travel to Delhi to access trains towards Gurugram, Rewari, and Rajasthan.

pehle band kar di gayi Himalayan Queen (train number 14095-96) ka alternative hai, jo Covid period mein band ho gayi thi. Chetak Express Sonipat se Chandigarh tak saadhe teen ghante mein pohoch jaayegi, subah jaldi nikal ke aur 9:15 AM tak pahunch jaayegi, jisse commuters ko aaram rahega. Ye service Sonipat ke residents ke liye direct train connectivity mein gap bharti hai, jinko pehle Delhi jaana padta tha Gurugram, Rewari aur Rajasthan jaane wali trains pakadne ke liye.
