Indian Railways announced the recruitment of 18,799 Assistant Loco Pilots in the next 6-8 months to improve railway safety. The decision to hire more ALPs follows a recent train accident in West Bengal that resulted in the death of 10 people. The Railway Board has directed all zonal railways to begin the recruitment process immediately, which is expected to take at least six months.

mahine mein 18,799 Assistant Loco Pilots ko recruit karne ke ailan ke baad aaya hai, jiska maksad railway safety ko behtar banana hai. West Bengal mein hal hi mein ek train accident hua jisme 10 logon ki jaan gayi, iske baad zyada ALPs ko hire karne ka decision liya gaya. Railway Board ne sabhi zonal railways ko recruitment process immediately start karne ka aadesh diya hai, jisme kam se kam chhe mahine ka time lagega.
