projects are expected to be completed by 2030-31 and will create direct employment for three crore man-days during construction. The projects are part of the PM-Gati Shakti National Master Plan for multi-modal connectivity and will improve transportation networks, connecting six aspirational districts and 510 villages, benefiting around 40 lakh people. Notably, the Ajanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage site, will be connected to the railway network, attracting more tourists. These lines are crucial for transporting agricultural products, fertilizer, coal, iron ore, steel, cement, bauxite, limestone, aluminum powder, granite, ballast, and containers, with expected freight traffic increases of 143 MTPA. The projects will contribute to environmental goals by reducing oil imports and carbon emissions, equivalent to planting 3.5 crore trees.
