Minister's position, the area remains deprived of rail services. Surveys have been conducted several times, including in 2012 and 2009-10, with a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for a 154.400 km line prepared in 2009-10. Despite the DPR and 75 lakh rupees approved last year for surveying, the project remains stalled. Recent meetings with Railway Minister Ashwin Vaishnaw have resulted in promises of budget allocation for a new survey for a rail line connecting Anupgarh and Bikaner.

Rail line ka survey kai baar ho chuka hai, 2012 mein bhi aur 2009-10 mein bhi, jisme 2009-10 mein 154.400 km line ke liye 707.32 crore rupees ka DPR bhi banaya gaya tha. DPR aur last year survey ke liye approved 75 lakh rupees ke bawajood, project stalled hai. Recent meetings mein Railway Minister Ashwin Vaishnaw se Anupgarh aur Bikaner ke beech rail line ke liye survey ke budget allocate karne ka assurance mila hai.
