The line runs along the Delhi-Mathura Road and includes stations like Sarai, NHPC Chowk, Mewala Maharajpur, Sector 28, Badkal Mor, Old Faridabad, Neelam Chowk Ajronda, Bata Chowk, and Escorts Mujesar. Haryana Chief Minister ML Khattar announced that the Prime Minister would be approving the construction of a metro connection between Gurgaon and Faridabad. Separately, the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) awarded four geotechnical soil investigation contracts for its 44.56 km Phase 3 project. These contracts, each with a 5-month deadline, will facilitate precise line structure design and help companies prepare accurate bids. Phase 3 includes the Orange Line (Kempapura to JP Nagar 4th Phase) and a second line connecting Kadabagere to Hosahalli. Both lines will be elevated and serve the western side of Bengaluru.
