which occurred on Saturday, saw a large gathering of people including former MLA Shashi Bhushan Samad, social worker Dr. Vijay Singh Gagrai, Congress leaders Mumtaz Ansari and Pritam Bankira, JMM leaders Dinesh Jena, Mohammad Yunus, and Giriraj Sena chief Umashankar Giri. They expressed their ignorance about the purpose of the excavation and vowed to oppose the boundary wall if it intended to close the road. They emphasized the road's importance for residents to access the railway station, railway hospital, post office, schools, colleges, and other institutions. The protestors demanded the railways prioritize the city's well-being in development work and plan to submit a memorandum to the Chakradharpur DRM after a meeting on Sunday to prevent the road closure. Former MLA Samad assured he would negotiate with relevant authorities to halt construction and oppose the railways' arbitrary actions.

Unhone ye bhi bataya ki yeh sadak city ke logon ke liye railway station, railway hospital, post office, school, college aur dusre institutions jaane ke liye bahut important hai. Protest karne walon ne demand kiya ki railways city ke hit mein development kaam kare aur Sunday ko meeting karne ke baad, Chakradharpur DRM ko ek memorandum submit karke sadak band hone se rokne ki koshish karenge.
