Due to a recent train accident on the Kanpur-Jhansi rail route, 18 trains have been cancelled, affecting travel plans for Raksha Bandhan, the festival of brother-sister bond celebrated on August 19th. This cancellation impacted approximately 40,000 passengers who were scheduled to travel from Jhansi to Kanpur and other cities across India.
