The Jamalpur Rail Factory is likely to be selected for this purpose, owing to its skilled workforce. The factory will be expanded to accommodate the necessary infrastructure for the construction and maintenance of metro trains. Notably, Jamalpur is the oldest rail factory in India, known for manufacturing 140-tonne diesel hydraulic cranes and the Jamalpur Jack. The operationalization of metro trains in four other cities besides Patna in Bihar has also been approved. The construction of the Patna metro is progressing rapidly. Railway Ministry, metro trains ke maintenance aur construction ke liye jagah dhoond raha hai. Jamalpur Rail Factory iska liye selected hone wala hai, kyunki yeh skilled workforce se bhara hua hai. Factory ko metro trains ke construction aur maintenance ke liye required infrastructure provide karne ke liye expand kiya jaayega. Jamalpur India ka pehla rail factory hai, jo 140 tonne weight ke diesel hydraulic cranes aur Jamalpur Jack banata hai. Bihar mein Patna ke alawa, four aur cities mein metro train ka operation ko approve kiya gaya hai. Patna metro ka kaam fast pace par chal raha hai. Munger is a Historical town and it also need Metro Services. So indian Railway has to strt metro services from Munger too.
