Conversely, the Indore-Khandwa gauge conversion project has faced a reduction of Rs 210 crore in its allocation, with the revised amount now standing at Rs 700 crore. The Chhota Udaipur-Dhar new rail line project has also been affected by budget cuts, with its allocation reduced from Rs 350 crore to Rs 200 crore. Meanwhile, the final location surveys for the Khandwa-Khargone-Julwania-Barwani-Alirajpur new rail line and the Ujjain-Agar-Jhalawar new railway line have received allocations of Rs 6.25 crore and Rs 4.70 crore respectively.

Chhota Udaipur-Dhar new rail line project bhi budget cuts ka shikaar hua hai, jiska budget Rs 350 crore se kam karke Rs 200 crore kar diya gaya hai. Iske alawa, Khandwa-Khargone-Julwania-Barwani-Alirajpur new rail line aur Ujjain-Agar-Jhalawar new railway line ke final location surveys ke liye Rs 6.25 crore aur Rs 4.70 crore ka budget allocate kiya gaya hai.
