The Indian Ministry of Railways has approved a survey for a new railway line connecting Ambikapur and Korba in Chhattisgarh. This is causing excitement in the Sarguja region. The previous survey, conducted in 2020-21, showed a distance of 207 km between Ambikapur and Korba, which was considered too long. The proposed...

route would connect Ambikapur with Korba via Korba district, adding to the distance. Local residents have raised concerns about this route and are advocating for a shorter route via Lakhanpur, Kedma, Matringa, Siyang, Chirra, and Batati, which would reduce the distance to 110 km. They believe this would also decrease the overall cost of the project. The Ministry of Railways is expected to allocate funds for the survey, which is hoped to lead to the extension of the railway line from Ambikapur. This project is part of an initiative to connect northern and central Chhattisgarh to Uttar Pradesh through an energy corridor.

ki bahut zyada thi. Proposed route mein Ambikapur ko Korba se Korba district se jode jaane ka plan hai, jisse doori aur bhi badh jaayegi. Local residents ne is route par concern uthaye hain aur woh Lakhanpur, Kedma, Matringa, Siyang, Chirra aur Batati se hokar jaane waale ek chote route ka support kar rahe hain, jisse doori 110 kilometer kam ho jaayegi. Unka manana hai ki isse project ki overall cost bhi kam hogi. Rail Ministry se umeed hai ki woh is survey ke liye funds allocate karega, jisse Ambikapur se rail line ka extension ho sake. Ye project north aur central Chhattisgarh ko Uttar Pradesh se energy corridor ke through connect karne ki initiative ka part hai.

These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
