The drivers also threatened private taxi services, forcing them to halt operations, and even threatened to damage vehicles if they did not comply. The drivers emphasized that they would not resume operations until their demands were met. This protest resulted in long queues at the station, bus stand, and airport, with private taxis charging exorbitant fares. Several students missed their UGC NET exams due to the lack of transportation, and even school-going children were affected by the shutdown.
