Samaypur Badli to Kundli. Currently, the Delhi Metro operates on a network of around 400 km across 12 corridors. The DMRC, in collaboration with the Delhi and Indian governments, will construct these corridors. Following the appointment of a consultant, a detailed project report (DPR) and feasibility report will be prepared and submitted to the government. Once approved, the budget will be allocated and construction will commence. The construction of these corridors is expected to benefit millions of people in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana. The project aims to address the persistent traffic congestion in the Delhi-NCR region, which often leads to travel delays. Delhi Metro plays a significant role in providing efficient and timely transportation, especially during peak hours and rainy days. Currently, the Delhi Metro carries an average of 65-70 lakh passengers daily, with a peak record of 77 lakh passengers in a single day.
