(October 6, 13, 20, 27, November 3, 10, 17, 24) and arrives in Mettupalayam at 7:30 AM the next day. The return journey, departing from Mettupalayam at 7:45 PM on Mondays (October 7, 14, 21, 28, November 4, 11, 18, 25), reaches Tirunelveli at 7:45 AM the following day. Similarly, the Tirunelveli-Chennai Egmore train, running via Manamadurai, Karaikudi, Thiruvarur, and Mayiladuthurai, has been extended for another 3 months, facilitating travel from southern districts to Chennai. The train leaves Tirunelveli at 6:45 PM on Thursdays (September 12, 19, 26, October 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, November 7, 14, 21, 28) and reaches Chennai Egmore at 8:30 AM the next day. The return journey, departing from Chennai Egmore at 3:00 PM on Fridays (September 13, 20, 27, October 4, 11, 18, 25, November 1, 8, 15, 22, 29), arrives in Tirunelveli at 7:10 AM the following day.
