Railway: रेलवे बोर्ड की रिपोर्ट के बाद ही शुरु हो पाएगा ब्रिज नंबर-94 का कार्य, करना पड़ेगा लंबा इंतजार

A bridge (Bridge No. 94) on the Sivni-Itwari railway section, between Bhandarkund and Bhimalgondi, has developed cracks. The railway board sent a team to inspect the bridge and prepare a report on the cause of the cracks and preventive measures. A new bridge will be constructed, for which the tender process...

will take at least a month. The construction of the new bridge is estimated to take 5-6 months, which would mean that train services between Sivni and Nagpur will be disrupted for six months. The incident occurred despite the DRM (Divisional Railway Manager) inspecting the bridge on August 22nd and declaring it to be in good condition. This has raised questions about the effectiveness of the inspection. The bridge was built at a cost of 2.5 crores and has already incurred maintenance expenses of 3.5 crores in just three years. The bridge has been a subject of controversy since its construction, with the CRS (Commissioner of Railway Safety) raising concerns about the quality of work. The bridge had been permitted to operate trains at a speed of 20 km/h and required 24-hour monitoring. The entire project, encompassing the Chhindwara-Sivni-Nanpur-Mandla Fort railway line and the Chhindwara-Itwari line, cost a combined 2700 crores and was completed after seven years of construction. Although train services are available, they are frequently canceled, causing inconvenience to passengers.

Sivni-Itwari railway section mein Bhandarkund aur Bhimalgondi ke beechwala bridge (Bridge No. 94) mein cracks aa gayi hain. Railway board se team ne bridge ka inspection kiya aur cracks ke karan aur preventive measures ke liye report banayi. Ab new bridge banaya jaayega, jiske liye tender process mein kam se kam...

ek mahina lagega. New bridge banne mein 5-6 mahine lag sakte hain, is wajah se Sivni aur Nagpur ke beech train services chhe mahine band rahenge. August 22nd ko DRM ne bridge ka inspection kiya tha aur usne bridge ko thik bataya tha, lekin do din baad bridge mein cracks aa gayi. Is se inspection ke effectiveness ke baare mein sawal uth rahe hain. Bridge ko banne mein 2.5 crore rupay kharch hue the aur sirf teen saal mein 3.5 crore rupay maintenance mein kharch ho chuke hain. Chhindwara-Sivni-Nanpur-Mandla Fort aur Chhindwara-Itwari lines ka project 2700 crore rupay ka tha aur yeh project saat saal mein pura hua. Halanki train services chal rahi hain, lekin unko aajkal baar baar cancel kiya ja raha hai, isse yaatriyon ko pareshani ho rahi hai.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
