Last week, an attempt was made to derail the Kalindi Express by placing a gas cylinder on the tracks. The loco pilot noticed a suspicious sound and applied emergency brakes between Barrajpur and Bilhour, preventing a major accident. On August 16-17, a portion of the Sabarmati Express, including the engine, derailed on the Kanpur-Jhansi route due to a piece of rail track placed on the tracks. Fortunately, there were no casualties in either incident.

Pichhle hafte, Kalindi Express ko jaanboojh kar patari se utarne ki koshish ki gayi thi. Iske liye rail line pe gas cylinder rakha gaya tha. Jab loco pilot ko cylinder ke train se takrane ki sandigdh aawaz sunaai di, toh usne turant hi Barrajpur aur Bilhour area ke beech emergency brake laga kar train ko rok diya tha. Isse pehle, 16-17 August ki raat Kanpur-Jhansi route pe Sabarmati Express ke dibbe engine samet patari se niche utar gaye the. Ganiyat rahi ki is haadse mein koi janhani nahin hui. Jaanch mein railway track pe karib teen fit lambi rail patari ka tukda rakha tha.
